Quality Education QualityEducation203.org is a group of Naperville district 203 parents and taxpayers who believe in the value of public education and support the excellent educational value that Naperville School District 203 gives to our children.
We came together in late February 2007 concerned about what we thought was an inappropriately biased depiction of a proposed advanced biology textbook. We then quickly realized that it was a wake up call to us about a more threatening issue in District 203: an attempt to take over the school board and throw our schools into disruption. All of us felt that a very one sided picture of the District's activities and performance was being presented for the purposes of furthering an extreme agenda that is out of the mainstream for our Naperville community. And we chose to speak out.
We believe that:
there is a group of Naperville CUSD 203 critics that do not represent the mainstream ideals of our district and that their ideology is not in the best interest of public education and our schools--both financially and educationally;
their proposals for the school would result in reduced services and, ultimately, could cost us more money.
We will strive to offer a resource of factual information and rational analysis from credible sources and supporters of educational excellence that will raise the public's awareness about the school district.
